Does your turmeric extract contain oxalates? At levels higher / lower than turmeric itself? Is there a risk of kidney stones developing? Hi, thank you for this important question. We use a very specific Turmeric extract that is high (95%) in Curcuminoids. The level of oxalates in our extract are between negligible (<0.015mg per dose) and below the level of detection. We can conclude that our Turmeric formula contains >160 times lower oxalates than levels considered to be of concern per published studies.
I heard a lot of the positive research on turmeric were recently retracted. Have you looked at this and what does the remaining research say about it? Further, does your curcurmin contain heavy metals? I see that is a common problem with this kind of product? Hi, some concerns were investigated when taking elevated levels of Turmeric, but at standard levels the many benefits of Turmeric continue to be universally recognised. Is this an anti inflammatory supplement as it just states it’s an antioxidant in your description, thanks Hi, a great deal of research and publications link Turmeric with possessing anti-inflammatory properties, however in Europe it doesn't have an approved Health Claim for this indication, so we are not permitted to make reference to such benefits on our website or product label.
I was telling my friend about the turmeric i ordered from you and she said make sure it is organic as some turmeric has colouring in it. Hi, our Turmeric does not contain any colorants. The orange tone is naturally-occurring.
I just started taking Iron supplements for anemia and I came across many websites claiming that curcumin can inhibit Iron absorption. Do you have any information on this issue? I would like to continue taking the turmeric supplements if possible. Is there a reason btw that you can’t take 2 capsules per day? Most studies seem to show effectiveness at 500mg and up doses. I tentatively changed to the Vegetology brand as I have had positive results. from the other Vegetology supplements. In the past I found circumin upset my stomach from another brand. Pleased to report after my first order I have been fine. I realise the value of the black pepper and attribute that to making it an ok product for me.

I run four times a week and have found that my muscle soreness and joint stiffness have noticeably reduced since supplementing with Vegetelogy's Turmeric capsules. The harshest critique I can muster is that some turmeric residue ends up in the container and can sometimes end up on my hands when removing a capsule. It's a tiny amount and doesn't stain if removed promptly. Wouldn't really care if it did, to be honest!
