Have you ever wanted to make vegan pancakes, but didn't know how? Or maybe you've tried them before, but they didn't turn out the way you wanted. In either case, this recipe is for you! It's an easy and delicious vegan American style pancake recipe that will have your taste buds singing with joy. So get ready to flip some pancakes and enjoy a delicious breakfast treat!

Ingredients

Ingredient Amount
Self Raising Flour 125g
Castor Sugar 2 tbsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
Sea Salt Pinch
Oat Milk 150ml
Sunflower Oil for frying 2 tbsp

Step One

Place flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl and mix together well.

Step Two

Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients and pour in the oat milk and vanilla extract whisking continuously until smooth.

Step Three

Heat a large frying pan over a medium heat with a little oil in.

Step Four

Pour about 2 tbsp of mixture, spreading gently with the back of a spoon. You will be able to cook 3-4 at a time depending upon your pan size.

Step Five

Once you start to see bubbles rising up, the pancake is ready to be flipped and cooked on the other side, watch these closely as they cook quickly.

Step Six

Cook in batches and leave to warm in a low oven. Once you have a plateful ready, enjoy with your favourite toppings.
